Boulez Materialism by Dell-Brecht-Lillinger-Westergaard is the testimony of an artful staging of structural sound movements – a way of dealing with the large form hitherto hardly known in contemporary music. At the same time, it represents a further development of Dell-Lillinger-Westergaard’s acoustic music through live electronic means by sound artist Johannes Brecht. The hybrid construction of a mixture of acoustic and electronic sounds gives the music a distinctive colouring and orchestral richness.
